DBS Cruise Ferry Sakaiminato - Donghae - Vladivostok
The ferry "Eastern Dream" was built in 1993 and is operated by DBS Cruise Ferry, Seoul. It started its operation in June 2009, and makes a trip between Sakaiminato (Japan), Donghae (Korea) and Vladivostok (Russia) once a week. Between Sakaiminato (Japan) and Donghae (Korea) it operates twice a week.
The vessel length is 140 meters, and it reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots at full speed. The ferry accommodates 500 passengers, 66 vehicles and 130 containers. The deck is equipped with a restaurant, recreation room, game club, shop, night club and sauna. There are six types of guest rooms from 1st Class Junior Suite ( 3 rooms with 2 passengers, equipped with double bed and ensuite bathroom ) to Economy Class 'C' ( 4 rooms with 20 passengers and 1 room with 104 passengers; with futons and public bathroom).
